Off My Routine
I've felt exhausted and unmotivated this week. I did manage to complete a new sketch daily, but not much else. I'm off my routine.
I haven't been to the gym, I'm eating like crap, and spending way too much time online. Not exactly a recipe for success.
I hit periods like this; it's nothing new. My mood fluctuates all over the place, and sometimes, I spiral into depression for a week or two.
This morning, I am reminding myself:
- Don't beat yourself up. Negative self-talk isn't helpful. Instead, show yourself some grace.
- Get back on a routine as quickly as possible.
I'm getting back on my routine starting today. The structure is good for me. I don't need to conquer the world, but I want to make better choices today.
Baby steps, right? Just move the needle a little bit in a positive direction. Once you get some momentum going, things will get easier.
